Why I Started A Financial Platform For Women!
And Other Marginalized Groups Who Want To Be Empowered By Building Wealth & Their Own Power!
How am I a money expert? What qualifies me to do this work?
I grew up learning how to save money quickly and efficiently from my parents, learning how to let my money WORK FOR ME through tools like HYSA’s (High Yield Savings Accounts), and the beautiful power of COMPOUND INTEREST.
But wait, did I earn a finance degree or study finance in school?
Nope! But I do have multiple 6 figures saved to my name and net worth at the age of 35, and I want to TEACH YOU how to earn this money, too!
Why am I being so transparent about the amount of money I have?
Because in today’s era of predatory money hoarding from multi-billionaires, this is OKAY to say! People like me are NOT the problem, and neither are you. You do not have to feel guilty about wanting money for yourself. I want to ENCOURAGE you all to understand this, and own what you DESERVE!
Do I feel guilty about the financial indepenence I have?
Not one bit. As states above, people like me are not the problem. For FAR too long, women and other marginalized groups of people have been left out of conversations on how to invest INTENTIONALLY by a white-male dominated patriarchy, and it keeps us all LESS POWERFUL as a consequence! Money gives us CHOICES, which gives us POWER and INDEPENDENCE to build the lives that we want for ourselves!!!!
How did I grow up learning about money?
I recall even at the age of 3 years old, my parents teaching me how to build my savings accounts. When my grandparents gave me $10 for my birthday, that money automatically went into my HYSA they had for me.
As I grew up, my Dad taught me all about my HYSA and my Mom taught me the value of a dollar and how to be frugal with my money. Even though brand names might not have been a major part of my upbringing, I still loved everything I had and needed, and my family was well off because of it.
I later became the person in my friend group that people asked questions to about money and how to establish great credit. Having grown up with the information I learned, I honestly thought it was a part of everyone’s upbringing. It clearly wasn’t, and I feel a responsibility now to share what I know for others to learn from!

I have major plans and goals for this work. I want to write a book, create small e-books and tools with easy to understand information about proper budgeting techniques and how to stop emotionally spending money, and much much more!
But for now, I am just getting started. This is the beginning, and I’m SO excited!
